  • I like that the video focused on getting useful tools. Where would I get a horse pick like you have?

  • NJ Pawley makes them, I use one myself and they work real well. Just about any blacksmith can make one. I'll ask N.J. if he sells them.

  • I use a small shoe brush for the face. Works great !

  • @YoungEquestrians101 My grandpa and i built a rope halter from scratch a little while ago. They work great. In my opinion, the rope halters that are store bought dont usually fit the horse right. So i made one that fits my horse very well. :D

  • nice video i do dreassage . but still a great video for a grooming kit . i love the hoof pick idea. cheers from melbourne australia .

  • does this guy have a video teaching you how to tie a rope halter? i can't find any anywhere and i really want to learn how. i can't follow the drawings and diagrams very well that you can find on the internet...

  • great video. good info plain and simple couldnt have said better myself

  • I know they're a couple of bucks. But they don't do a thing. Society has manufactured an entirely useless implement.

  • its like a couple bucks. ur REALLY lazy, rnt u?

  • I had one for years. But as this guy mentions, they're a waste of money and don't do thejob nearly as effectively.

  • Quite far from it.

I don't make the choices for various grooming implements that the barn owns--only the stuff I keep in my own trunk. We have aluminum picks at our barn--it's not my decision. I personally now have one that the farrier made for a friend out of scrap metal that the friend gave to me.
