I remember I was at a show at the Maritime in San Francisco and Barak Records did a tour. It was Dwele, Phat Kat & Slum headlined. I was hopin Dilla would be there, but I think it was already after they announced Elzhi was gonna be in the group. El was there, Dilla was not.
Ha ha ha. This shit was too ahead of it's time. They performed this very song and mad head wrap bitches walked out. I was dying. Classic All Time Rap Moment. Baatin was flying around the stage like he had winged feet. RIP

this beat wold have been tighter if Dills would have taken the melody at the end and wove that into the whole beat. I'm a sucka for J-Dee's melodic riffs.
