  • this is a cool song and I like it for some reason. this album I purchased in 1987 because of the crazy name and cool cover. One of those albums that is part of the soundtrack of my life.

  • This is just like it is at an Italian/American wedding. Lottsa of fun. Natalie nails it. Love ya Natalie.

  • this has a caribbean feel! i like :)

  • @georgemilewski

Strange, I grok nothing at all cheesy about it. If there were any justice it would take it's place in the all-American wedding song canon. Right next to "Sunrise, Sunset", Shania Twain's "From this Moment" and "I knew the Bride when she used to rock-n'-roll".

  • Probably the only cheesy thing on the album, but what a great fun silly song.

If I weren't old enough to remember when and how Christine introduced me to this great album, I'd probably reply to CurlyPubis by saying: "True Dat."

But because I am, I will just say that while I still think, from time to time, about Christine, this weekend is all about celebrating Mike & Kolleen's knot-tying, shared joy and life together: "Congratulations! And Thanks!

  • @asbte Same here. I listened to this all through college.

  • Love Love Love.this album...and Natalie Merchants solo albums...ROCK ON GEN XERS!!!

  • @ Asbte....very well said. This album has been speaking to me for the last 23 years. Perfect songs, each and every one. For me, the greatest album ever.

  • For my sister Annie and my brother in law Bruce. Happy Anniversary You two.

  • Probably the only cheesy thing on the album, but what a great fun silly song.

  • my favorite album
