@patton303 Yep, by far the greatest argument againt the conspiracy group. If NASA actually pulled off the most amazing hoax ever... why in god's name would they risk doing it 6 more times?

Why didn't the Soviets fake going? They were in competition with us to get to the moon first. You conspiracy nuts lack the proper education to comprehend the science and engineering behind it all.

look, we didnt fake going to the moon, if we did then we would of stopped at 11, we didnt go to the moon to beat russia, we went to explore. thats what makes us human.

@krazygrrrl I always say that too. The technology needed to fake rocket launches and moon landings would have been more complex than just doing the damn thing. Which they did. 7 times. And they could have just quit after Apollo 11.
So to keep up some kind of hoax for 7 missions would have been stupid and pointless. Anyway, arguing with conspiracy theory guys is like arguing with a broken pencil. Pointless. : )

Then again, Cosmored is probably one of those that says that NASA hoaxed all of this including the lift-off with holograms and the like.
I would counter, that if NASA had the technology to create such a hoax, then flying to the Moon would have not represented any problems at all and is actually a good indicator of the reality of the missions. This logic is however beyond his comprehension.
The best evidence for Apollo is that the USSR congratulated the USA on the flights (and the LRO pics)
