Third in my "how to" series. I was requested to do a demo of displaying an InfoPath form in SharePoint. This demo shows how to add a form as a webpart to a SharePoint page.

If you have other requests of features you'd like to see demonstrated, get in touch and I'll see what I can do.

  • What about SharePoint 2003? I cant seem to get the form to do anything?

  • To display a form in a browser, you need InfoPath 2007 and InfoPath Forms Server or Services. InfoPath Forms Services is one of the enterprise features of SharePoint 2007, but it's not part of SharePoint 2003 or the standard version of SharePoint 2007.

  • I'd like to see, obviously if SharePoint succeed, how to configure SharePoint to send e-mail to an Exchange server without using authentication (since I understand that SP still does not support authentication to an SMTP server )

  • hi Jess, is it possible to save/export in PDF format the result of a form editing?
