@TheDemonicAngeling If you want to count mistakes, lang Lang makes 3 or towards the end. but was it worse is that he changes the actual rythm of one whole section to make it easier. I ALSO like Kissin's version better. More refined, less showy and more finesse and emotion and beauty of tone.

I love this song. He has a much more mature sound, but I personally prefer Kissin's version, it's crisper and he has better technique. But still, this is amazing :)

Lang Lang in London ( dressed in black ) is FAR Better than this. There we have Perfection plus. See it !!!

1:55 Delfino Plaza anyone?

@thestubbornoetic actually there are a whole hall of people there....we all notice the error towards the end but I still loves his version the best when it comes to La Campanella

Hah... Computer or some sort of machine can play it a lot more faster and accurate but the music is not about speed. This performance is absolutely meaningless and one dimentional in my ears.
-
@Handeltasche , totally agree. Saw both pianists live, Yundi is a true talent, far superior in performance, interpretation, and technical abilities. What's more, he stays true to the piece while Lang Lang violates its integrity in the interest of showing off his skills instead.

@gjbsf lang lang is not an option when it comes to liszt, beethoven and so on.....

Absolutely brilliant. Absorbed in the music and not in the showing off. Breathtaking!
