Kanyon reverses a backslide from Prince Iakea into a nifty Flatliner to pick up a win.

  • I used to love the Flatliner. It was the only move I'd do in WCW/NWO Revenge. In retrospect, it doesn't look all that great, but as far as I know, Kanyon is the creator of it, so props to him for that. RIP

  • Awesome.

  • everyone else who does it- looks sloppy. I always liked Kanyon, he was very inventive with all of his moves.

  • @theraVen27 eh, you're probably right. i'm no booker t expert

  • @Anihero69

Your point is valid and true.

i see the point you were going for but i think ur example was wrong.

I would like to see any video of him doing the move, not even as a finisher just using it, anytime before he started wearing the rocks shirt, sun glasses, and copied his promos.

I THINK ur wrong with booker t my friend.

  • @theraVen27 my point was just cause a wrestlers do the same move doesn't mean they're ripping eachother off. also i am pretty sure booker t has been doing the book end since his harlem heat days

  • @Anihero69

the "book end" was a direct rip off of the rock bottom. everything about booker t at the time was a rip off of the rock. he even wore the same shirts the rock wore the week before.

I am NOT a rock fan, in fact i can't stand the hypocrite, overacting, bum but it's fact that wcw tried to make booker t the rock

  • @tdylan there are only so many moves in wrestling. sting & bret hart weren't jabbing at each other they both just happened to use that submision, same with the rock & booker t. sean o'hair, jeff hardy, & kevin steen all use the swanton bomb & it had nothing to do with the other wrestlers when they use it. sometimes wrestlers do moves to honor or call out another wrestler, but that's a minority. wrestler's don't own moves, an actor can't own an emotion, a football player can't own a tackle.

  • @Anihero69 I know it's not trademarked like an intellectual property. That is why I also referred to it as a signature. You only do the move if you're taking a shot at someone ie Rock giving the Stunner to Austin, paying Respect ie Benoit using the sharpshooter, or as a jab to someone in another company ie Sting and Bret Hart both using the Deathlock. That's why when Benoit did the diving headbutt they would say "shades of the dynamite kid." It was Kid's signature move.

  • @tdylan dude, they're not trademarked. yes, when people go to wwe the managment tells them not to do certain moves (sometimes cuz someone in the company already uses it), but in other wrestling companies people can do whatever move they want at any given time. it's like a play of move in football, basketball, or any other given sport.

  • @Anihero69 Yes you can. That stuff is trademarked. You can't sue someone for it, but you ever wonder why guys in the same company use different finishers, instead of everyone doing the spear, or the stunner, or the rock bottom, or the pedigree, or the tombstone? It's a unprofessional to use someone else's signature. Hence why it's a signature. It's supposed to be unique to the individual.
