  • you wouldn't think that americans would act like this over soccer!

  • As Americans we pride ourselves in any sort of competition, whether we were the best team in the world or not does not matter, American pride is a very powerful thing, and as much as we are divided sometimes, it doesnt take much to pull us Americans together for the greater good. So yes, we will act like this over soccer, and football, and the olympics, and any thing else in which we are represented amoung the world

  • @cvirga1 Right on brotha!

  • haha our economy may suck dick thanks to a rodeo clown from texas and his egotistical wars but were still the shit at sports haha

  • @MrVillamike If we change our opinions about the sport (i.e. not slandering it anymore because the Europeans like it) then maybe we'd be World Cup winners in no time.

  • @kurohige1338

Americans forced Australians to call their team "Socceroos"? And Aussies and Kiwis aren't Third World.

Just suffer knowing that Limey's called it Soccer, and that's how it spread to your English speaking relatives. It must hurt you at night, you should cry yourself to sleep.

    sniffle sniffle

  • @kurohige1338 We also say "gasoline" when others say "petrol". Are you such a moron that this confuses you? Does the whole world need to say "petrol"? Is it really so important to you?

  • @Krommak Is there any more tedious argument in the world than this? Is there? In Italy lots of people call it, translated, "kick". So what? You know what we mean, we know what you mean, quit being a tool.

  • @Krommak Just because their FA calls it football doesn't mean the people do.

  • @fantasyexctasy Yes and would do all those countries have in common? Yes, English colonial background. The rest of the world - including England now - call it football

By the way, google "new zealand soccer". The first hit is nzfootball.co.nz.
