Well I've been playing again. It's a small platformer currently called Bit Hero. You play as Bit the little spaceman thing, but you are helped out by your trusty droid - cleverly named Droid. You can switch between characters, Bit is a normal platform character and Droid is sort of controlled like the old jetpack games. Droid is good for getting down small gaps and of course places out of reach to Bit, but if Droid moves too far from Bit you'll lose the remote signal. I'm currently thinking how to use Droid in the game - make him shoot, hit switches etc. Thanks for watching. :) If it's working I've been having problems uploading this vid.

    You show the capabilities of Construct really well, I think. All these videos make me realize I could do most things I want to do with it. And to think I still haven't begun using the thing...

    Please, if it's not too much to ask for, record more videos as you go along. I'd love to see where this one is heading.

    Considering Construct is still in development, some of the stuff it can do is brilliant. You have to take your hat off the the Devs & the Users that gave feedback and ideas in the early days.

    I'll see if I can turn this into a sort of video dev log of the games progression. I'll also add into the video some screen grabs of the Construct event sheets, that way maybe it will be of use to new users of Construct.

  • What a cool idea. This Scirra and similar concepts are a godsend. So many people can use great ideas that the devs from the golden 8 and 16 bit era never thought of.
