@gedassan I wonder how accurate this game is to source material. Did the original series have hostile birds, snakes and foxes?

Actually, now that I've read about the Osamu Tezuka's story "Karma", and how his Phoenix series influenced the plot of this game, it makes much more sense:)

Wow..I didn't know there was Hinotori for the Nes, I played a lot on the MSX and it was a top down shooter with fantastic music.

Its actually based on the unfinished life work of the godfather of manga, Osamu Tezuka. It was a series of what seems like unrelated stories based on life and death and our choices that makes this world. the first volume was in the past, the next was in the future and it went back and force until it reaches the present day. which sadly, never got finish before his death.
