I DISCOVERED The Urantia Book at our library in late April, 1967. The first page I turned to, on the evening of May 4th, was page 1651 Visiting Simon the Pharisee.
As I read the words, I had a feeling of awe, and it was as if I RECOGNIZED JESUS VOICE as I read. I thought, That sounds like what Jesus would say. Tears came to my eyes and I felt a bond with the dear unnamed woman who had repented of her sins and felt such gratitude that she anointed Jesus feet with the precious oil and wept, wiping away tears on his feet with her long hair. Although, not the same circumstances, I too had sinned and had repented, and I also felt gratitude to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I recognized HIS VOICE, and KNEW the TRANSFORMED WOMANS gratitude. I could hardly stop reading, as every page was a FEAST at a BANQUET, or I would think, This is like a magnificent SYMPHONY. I have played a recording of CeCe Winam singing her beautiful song, Alabaster Box, in the background as the professional reader narrates the experience from the fifth epochal Revelation.
