I also grew up right by this drive, by the baseball park at the top of the winding hill. Must have driven both my bike and car up and down the hill at the end of this video thousands of times. The lush vegetation brings back so many fond memories. I used to deliver papers to all these houses too. Imagine walking through 2-3 feet of snow through all those huge yards. Great place to grow up. Fantastic scenery to enjoy. I remember walking with my brothers in the early morning sunrise. Magical.
OMG!! I used to ride my bike there back in the late 60's to 70's. I lived in a house at the bottom. I think it's torn down now. Then later my moms house was across frm Junction City. Midstate College bulldozed it down for a parking lot...and I'm not over that. I miss Peoria so much. I wanted to move back but can't. Who are you anyway?? Some of my old boyfriends and girlfriends lived in those homes. Maybe I know you.
