@ParkMale69 people dont visit kathmandu to see the development, its the chaos that they enjoy.

I've been living in Nepal for the last 12 years, feels like home to ,me than my real home. Love the people. love Kathmandu the way it is. Love the crazy traffic, you cut peole off, they cut you off, you just looked at each other and smile and than carry on. Only in Nepal.

Next time, do a Night video !

In Chaosmandu, the horn is more important than brakes in your vehicle.

@chamolihn agree, it is as you say it is - I've been. I live in a super sterile environment in N. America too and I yearn to go back to Nepal. Unsolicited advice > do whatever it is you have to do to go there and do an Annapurna trek. Nepal changes you - for the better. Give yourself that gift.
As an American that lives in a sterile world with carbon copy strip malls and cookie cutter beige houses where people don't walk any further than to their cars, I find this place extraordinarily beautiful and romantic. It's like a mysterious maze of interesting things and buzzing people.
Sadly, I'm sure that most of the citizens of Kathmandu don't see the beauty and would trade places with me in a minute.

@chamolihn As a temporary vacation experience, Kathmandu is exactly like you say. But if you had to live there, you could easily dream of spacious and quiet places like in the suburbs of american cities. Things always depend on the personal point of view. :)

@ParkMale69 Why don't you record and upload a video like mine from Cebu so we can compare? I've never been there but would love to see how it looks like on the streets. ;-)

@ParkMale69 I'm not living in Kathmandu, I just spent 1.5 months there this years. Visiting good friends and spend some time far away from Gemany's craziness enjoying the very different Nepal craziness. :)
