    so why are people comparing this to things like the iPad?

    The Surface Pro is a totally different device than something like the iPad.

    An iPad is an oversized iPhone...seriously, think about it, it essentially is a big iPhone. An iPhone does everything an iPad can.

    Where as the Surface Pro can run things like Virtual Studio, Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Sony Vegas and still multitask IE10 and HTLM5 video in the back ground.....its an ultra book designed in tablet form...how are people missing this?

    I was really interested in this at first. 9/10 I go pc on computers and wanted to rid myself of apple. I really wanted this to be awesome but seeing as I use my tablets to take notes, play games, and write rough drafts this really just doesn't seem worth it. 900 dollars for a device that offers me nothing more than what I currently have and less apps to fuck around with. Microsoft you make me sad. :'(

    Just for everyone to know, Vapor MG is basically higher grade aluminum which technically is magnesium alloy. It's a tad more durable and better at dispersing heat evenly than aluminum, thus a tad cooler machine.
