they need to make a game that is a mix of elite force 2 and bridge commander, where you can command a ship and blow up ships and also run around and board vessels and defend your own, and also roam around ships

the bridge is not useless. I spent many hours in this game inviting federation to my klingon bridge, and then mercelessly slaughtering them like so many confused dogs.

2. you can use the bride but cant use consoles - its mainly a hub for friends

I just saw this game released today and i have a lot of Qs about it.

Q1, Can you walk around the ship while exploring space?

Q2, Can you access the bridge and use the consoles to control the ship?

Q3, can the ship be used to ram other ships?

Q4, Can you send a distress call when under attack?

Q5, can you set condition red any time you want?

Q6 can you change to different warp speeds?

It's a shame the bridge is a useless set piece that serves no function in the game

I wouldn't say Champions was a failure- They just don't do their MMO's big like other producers out there. Or give amazing support or awsome expansions. Which I'm not expecting STO to get any either :\ Not saying that Crypt is bad- but not awsome as well. Just IMO.

I agree it is a fun game. I AM enjoying it but probably because of love ST. I think that they're done w/ the Klingon's and the other playable races- but they're just trying to see how how well the server and bugs hold up against the game. If I know MMO's the Klingon/Other races quests are probably similar if not the same as the Federation quests because companies are lazy like that :\ The game isn't too deep though and thats something I don't like about it.

It is a very fun game but I am sad to say it is not what it could be. There is an extreme lack of depth and I have a feeling it is due to the hurried beta. They haven't even put the Klingons in as a playable race and the game launches on the 2nd. With the recent failure of Champions Online under their belt I hope they tighten up and get this right, but so far it doesn't look like it.
