@rudeblunt I dont know about CERN itself, you could well be right about that. My experience is with a HEP department, my supervisor works at CERN quite a bit, as a lot of the academics there spend time between there and their university and most universities have a dedicated HEP cluster which you can ssh onto.

jesus, with that being said, you probably still don't know what i am talking about because (and i repeat myself again): you are all STUPID. now, while the plot was a bit dry, the principle behind it was magnificent. the only reason most people didn't get it was because they are who they are, average moviegoers that just watch to see if it is "good", looking for emotional scenes and drama.

@ireadulisten actually mac osx is based on unix, similar to linux, I know several people working on HEP projects (CERN etc) who have macs as personal laptops because they are good for home computing but you can ssh easier onto a cluster to work from home or outside of the office.
