A look into the making of Bobby Broom's upcoming August 2014 release, "My Shining Hour," recorded at SHIRK Studios from March 6th to the 8th, where the audio was captured via analog recording direct to an 8-track tape recorder, via one stereo microphone and individual instrument spot mics. No instrument isolation, head-phones, or over-dubbing. In this pre-release mini-documentary, Bobby shares his vision for the album: "What I was trying to capture were mementos of Americana in music."
