Bad. She's trying way too hard, she can't do the vocal runs, and she screwed up the lyrics, twice. It sounds like drunken karaoke.
Not to mention, the staging isn't very good, either.

@Belle1390 THIS. yes it IS hard to sing and dance at the same time, but there are PLENTY of hardworking people who CAN do it and kick ass at it. if it's too hard for vanessa then let her go off and practice and come back when she CAN(if ever). Give it to someone who actually IS ready for the role and stop making excuses like "she's still young." damn straight she's still young, so why cast her if she's clearly not ready for it? it's just embarrassing for her!!

@theatrebby7 it's only New Year's in the movie, actually. Christmas is original to the Broadway show.
