@TakZach It doesn't matter how much you fire in one go. It really doesn't. Support gunners fire like this all the time, and their M249 gearboxes have no problem handling this kind of firing.

@TakZach I know some tech who will fire his AEGs for until the drum mag runs out just to prove how reliable his builds and AEGs as a whole are. Shooting for 20 seconds is not going to do much damage to the gun -_-

@Mjarf88 To each his own, but I'm saying if it were me, I'd never do that. I may be either too lazy to pull it apart, or just because it's so difficult.

@TakZach I've also been into airsoft for several years, and i love tinkering with those gearboxes, so it's not a big issue for me if the gearbox breaks. ^^

@Mjarf88 Look, I've been into airsoft for a LONG time. I KNOW it'll eventually burn out, but why not prolong it? It's stupid, and unless you feel like taking apart that gun (Which is absolute hell) and buying a new gearbox, for a 23 second video... It seems pointless.

@TakZach Well, yeah, firing your gun for 5 seconds puts more wear on it than firing it for 1 second, but it's not like it will eksplode if you fire it for longer than a couple of seconds. In extreme cases you might burn out the motor or the switch i guess. The gearbox will fail eventually, no matter how careful you are, so might as well have some fun while it's still works. ^^
