Recycling and using recycled products is a great way of going green and becoming eco-friendly. Green Glass makes the use of the recycled glassware more inviting and this video demonstrates the process.

Following a unique patented process different types of glassware products like tumblers, glasses, vases and goblets are made. They use reclaimed wine bottles, beer bottles and soda bottles are used for this purpose. The concept is very simple - to take advantage of gorgeous shapes and colors of the empty bottles. In order to get these bottles, Green Glass has partnered with wineries like Kluge winery in Charlottesville, Virginia and also with some recycling organizations.

The glassware products are created in the Green Glass studio in Wisconsin. During the process, they first clean the wine bottles and remove their labels. Two glasses can be obtained from one wine bottle by cutting the bottle into half. The rims are fire polished and the mouth is heated and flared to get two different styles of glasses; one is a wine glass and the other is a tumbler. Green Glass is partnered with Pottery Barn and works enthusiastically to add more and more creative eco-friendly products to their product line.
