alienware isnt that expensive who actually buys all those shitty optional extras that u can just buy ur self for cheap and install ur self take the m17x r3 for example starting price 1299 and u get a ton of performance

Alienwares are really expensive, but are worth it. It's just like buying a nice car. You pay extra for the brand name, because like a Mercedes, you know you're getting quality. Of course, you can save a few hundred / thousands by building on your own, but risks are pretty high. Let's say you mess up wire management, or the final product isn't visually appealing. Or maybe it won't even turn on! For me, I'd rather just buy a brand name instead of all those risks
