Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday December 10, 2010. But instead of traveling to Oslo to receive the award Liu will spend the day in jail, where he is serving eleven years on charges of "inciting subversion of state power" for his part in the writing of Charter '08, a document that called for greater freedom of expression, human rights, and free elections.

The question is not whether the commnist party should go is how to let the communist party go. Simply boycotting and protesting against China and force the ccp from power will just cause chaos, unrest and a power vacume that would lead to internal battle over ruling China.

I hope China would become democratic slowly with the CCP in power in the meantime where at least everyone can live peacefully(with limited freedom) instead of unlimited freedom in a uncertain chaotic China
