I totally disagree. Jordan is leading more of that than you think. It is just hard to see because the transfer of information from him to her is very subtle. Both are wonderful dancers. Kudos.

True, and it's also the lead's job to show off the follow. When the lead does fancy stuff on his own, it steals the limelight away from the follow and just looks greedy and arrogant. Jordan is doing an excellent job as he always does.

The pattern that starts at 3:15 is so clever. Love it! I feel like a lot of that cool, suave cleverness as gone by the wayside in favor of a more Benji-esqe style of directly indicating or even acting out the music. Benji's a great dancer. I personally just appreciate cleverness over pure energy.

I think also that there are many leads out from how he turns his hand... And it's also the part of the follower to work with the given information (lead & music) to give the whole thing a nice touch or play with every accent the music delivers

"The Closest Thing To Heaven" - Lionel Richie

I think that in the dance...is a woman who should "shine" with your moviment, spins...and the man should help her do so this...Jordan does this with Sarah

is this choreographed?

No. This is not choreography. In a "Jack & Jill" contest the partners are chosen randomly from the group and then music is picked by the Deejay. They don't know which partner or song they will have until they get up to dance. All of the competitors in this contest are west coast swing experts...
