Finally Finished. This was a project car that i purchased for my dad for christmas. After months of working on it, its complete!

the engine is all original we just replaced as few hoses, belts, and gas lines. we replaces the original cromodora rims with Newer Original Cromodora rims imported from Italy. We had the interior upgraded by changing the seats which were originally black and dark red, and door panels, with leather black and red racing seats, with matching door panels. The Dash board was replaced from a newer Fiat x1/9 that was in much better shape. 2 fiat x1/9 were totally taken apart and stripped in the final restoration of this car. The steering wheel as well as the gear shifter was changed with original MOMO parts. Just no we added the sony faceplate head unit with cd player and 4 speakers inside this car which werent installed at the time of this video.

Making it in time for the spring, we are just awaiting for the insurance to fall through so that we can get plates, and install the anza dual exhaust.

STAY TUNED - JUST PURCHASED FIAT 1969 500! VIDEOS COMMING SOON

  • just got mine its a 76 standard with a beautifully rust free body planning turbo and intercooling it with a eggshell leather interior and red paint. I like what youve done with yours tho i might steal some ideas. i just have one question ... where did you get all your parts? im looking for engine parts and i would love some suggestions on where to look

  • i got all my parts for everythingfiat they have an online store as well as an ebay store. Another place where you will find tons of parts is Midwest X1/9. Matt Brennon is very helpful if you need anything there.

  • wow, you've done an absolutely fantastic job on that

  • thanks

  • Very cool of you to do that for your dad. My dad had congestive heart failure and was sick for a long time. I could not get him out of the house. So, I decided to give him something to do. I bought an old c4 corvette with high miles. It need a bunch. I started putting it back together and after I was done we were out cruising during the weekends and enjoying life again.

  • great idea!
