@shtik lol i suppose so. But really, all you need it a bad attitude and know how to rhyme with a basic understanding of language. Theres very little skill involved. The production side doesnt count.

@RockChickGodess VERY late comment from me but there is a HUGE amount of hip hop (US) that's very chilled and laid back. Check out Frankenstein, Breakthrough, Asheru, Artifacts.

Look, I'm a huge aus hip hop fan but I know that american hip hop is way more meaningful and skillful than ours.
Yes we relate to aus hip hop better but honestly nothing can compare to the skill that some of the guys like nas, common, mos def etc
