@MrMagicBrownies The demographic they're shooting for are sane adults, not 7-year-olds, your argument that Seth Macfarlane is talented just because it's watched by a bunch of people is irrelevant if the audience is a bunch of 7-year-olds. That's like saying someone making an action film is talented because they won an award for comedy.

@robertsfunny1995 Not to mention, his shows have been successful since 1999. If they were not successful, Fox would not have renewed the contract. Regardless of what you might think, television is a money game. If Family Guy didn't make money, Fox wouldn't bother making new episodes- it is relatively expensive. If they weren't convinced that the demographic they were shooting for liked the show, it wouldn't make it to it's Sunday night block in the first place. End of story.

You think Family Guy made Fox Conservative? What kind of a rock have you been living under since '83? Also, for your information, 10-year-olds CAN not comprise an entire viewing audience. American law states that no census or ratings data can be legally collected from a person under the age of 18. This means that if the viewing audience was nothing but 10-year-olds, registry of the ratings would not be collected period, meaning the ratings would be 0 viewers per episode.

@SirTrollolalot Thank you! :D

@MrMagicBrownies He didn't earn anything, all he did was transform fox into a pool of intolerance for conservatism, and on another note, the only reason he still has those shows is because they're watched by a bunch of 10-year-olds who think they're being all hard-core because they're watching "adult" humor.

@SirTrollolalot Even if it doesn't stay true to the originals, I'm sure it will be hillarious. I really didn't think I'd like the Celeveland Show, but he took it in a completely different direction than what I expected, it took me by surprise, and now I watch it every week. He is certainly one of the most talented and funny producers out there.

@robertsfunny1995 How did he blow it, exactly? All of his shows still air every Sunday. As far as I'm concerned, he still does an excellent job at his brand of comedy (social and political satire) and manages to hold down the ratings for Fox. Finally, as a response to your other question, "He has too many shows, now he gets this, why does he get this too?"
He should get it because he worked for it. Despite what you may think, it's not easy to produce 5 TV shows. Just calm down and enjoy TV.

You people are fuking retards. Comparing this to Family guy... THATS WHAT FAMILY GUY IS! Is a show made up of those over rated jokes that make fun of everything. The only reason you people don't like it is becaue you're a bunch of over sensitive liberal hippies. And thats what the show family guy is takin the piss out of. But Flintstones is an entirely different concept and I'm sure hell handle it well. I seriously doubt hes going to cram it with over rated sexual jokes

@SirTrollolalot Okay, normally I can accept a comment like that, but teh fact that you had to point out that he has multiple series is just pushing it. The problem is he has TOO many shows, and now he's getting this to? Why should he get it?
Yabba Dabba No.

Jesus, guys, shut up already. Do you really think it's going to be "Prehistoric Family Guy?" Seth is a huge Hanna-Barbera fan, and he'll be keeping the reboot in line with the originals. It'll just be a slightly more modern interpretation. And to all of you that sit there and bitch and moan about how bad Seth McFarlane is... Please, try and produce -and voice act in- multiple series that run for as many seasons as his have. In other words... Fuck yourselves.
