"I stand with the residents" - Member of Parliament for Arima, Roger Samuel
The residents of Santa Rosa Heights, Arima in Trinidad and Tobago are OBJECTING to the prison facility that is being built near to our residential area.
These contributions were made at a Community Meeting held on Tuesday 20th September 2011 at the Santa Rosa Government Primary School.
Present on the head table were:
Mrs. Nicole Dyer Griffith, Minister in the Ministry of Information
Commissioner Rougier, Commissioner of Prisons in Trinidad and Tobago
Member of Parliament, Roger Samuel for the Arima Constituency
Mr. Richardson, Asst Commissioner of Police
The residents were invited to share their concerns to this panel of representatives and we were all very clear....
WE OBJECT!!
WE DO NOT WANT A PRISON / DETENTION CENTRE IN, AROUND, NEARBY OR ACROSS THE HIGHWAY FROM OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD, SANTA ROSA HEIGHTS!!
