Austin Ament - Reel

Fun, energetic, professional, and absolutely unique -- just like the city I was named after! My passion is video editing and graphic design, and I would love to share my expertise and experience with you.

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, earning a degree in Radio-Television-Film. I work primarily with Final Cut Studio and Adobe Creative Suite, using my considerable technical know-how to produce the best-looking and most effective marketing, educational, or entertainment materials for you and your clients. I also have extensive on-set production experience, doing everything from running camera, booming sound, gaffing lights, supervising scripts, rolling prompters, and dressing sets.

Since graduation, I have worked primarily in the advertising and marketing fields, providing resources to both advertising agencies and directly to clients. I have designed materials for a variety of clients including the Round Rock Express, Rudy's Country Store and BBQ, The Hoveround Corporation, and KXAN Austin News.

In addition to video editing and graphic design, I spend my time reading everything I can get my hands on, enjoying movies (that's how this all started in the first place), and looking forward to every Saturday the Texas Longhorns play football. Where most editors prefer dark rooms and absolute solitude, I enjoy working with a diverse range of people right out in the open.
