PLEASE COMMENT! I had some tape left from a video project so I did this nice Neil Young cover. I learned it differently from others I have seen on the internet. Drop D with G harp. Neil's vocal range is alittle tough to get to. Hope you like it! [;]^)

  • Hi!

Yea, you are correct. I guess it's because as I got up in years, I needed to tune the guitar down 1/2 tone to match alot of vocals I wuz doing. So I leave it like that. BUT to play the harmonica with this, I needed it back to standard tuning. Guess what I'm saying is that I was just too damn lazy to retune and used the capo instead.

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Nice sounding Martin!

how come you tuned the guitar down a half tone and have a capo on the first fret, don't they cancel each other out?

  • not to bad on the vocals

  • Thanks! NY is a tough act to follow on the vocals. Tuning the axe down 1/2 tone put it within reach. [;]^)

  • Really not a bad job at all!!! you could slow the tempo down just a bit though. If you were to sit UP you would definitely improve the vocal quality as well. All in all, a really nice job. Keep posting!!

  • Brilliant!!

  • this is great. great vocals! no one can match Neil's vocals, and you're pretty darn close. Way to go!

  • got you Dave! Always great to me a fellow Neil Fan!
