I think ArmA 2 is a lot better. OFP 2 had some good ideas and a good engine, but just failed to make an entertaining game because they weren't innovative enough.
ArmA 2 may be laggy and buggy as all hell, but it's the huge scale and slow pace of the game that make it good. OFP2 tried to appeal to two gaming crowds, and failed.

@0hypnotoad0 It isn't laggy and buggy anymore. Operation arrowhead fixes the bugs and lag.

Don't forget that Arrowhead takes place in a desert. Overall there's a lot less polys on screen.

I am the one who owns the game, AND fired the grenade. You may as well be arguing against the existence of gravity.
Fact of the matter is, I've tried it. Shooting the KA50 in the tail does nothing, hitting it in the rotor does.

I was hitting the rotors/engine. That's an important part as far as I know; but I'm not a slick helicopter expert such as the one you make yourself out to be.
