  • I'm having trouble with this simulation in that it seems to avoid two LARGE ISSUES: COLLISIONS AND TIDAL FORCES. Tidal forces cause spinning objects to give kinetic energy to object orbiting them at slower speeds, causing their orbital radii to increase. Collisions, at least, could be modeled simply by a doubling of the mass and ignoring the splash effect of combining worlds / stars.

  • I kept trying to leave mouse mode while watching this vid...

Oh yeah, not my viewer :-D

Great example of the uses of OpenSimulator

and way back in what... 0.5.8 days WhooHoo!

  • nice! I like the dark star...

  • great video, thank u and wait more videos like this..

  • rad.. this is a great video. :D

  • I did something like this on my TI-99/4A. Not really. But I'll add this to Grubbie's Greats anyway. :D

  • Thanks for posting this, but really: Europe's "Final Countdown"? Ugg. I had to mute the audio just to be able to watch the video without being distracted by the soundtrack! Horrible (soundtrack, that is). I've yet to figure out what the video is about, but that's due to my own ignorance -- I'm sure N Bodies are something special!

  • Fun video! Heard about this from Prospero and Poppy Linden... THE FINAL COUNTDOWNNNN...
