u can get a guided tour of the place r walk around urself there is certain spots that u cant get into but u can walk into 90% of the buildings its a really big place u could spend all day there

Although historically fascinating, there's something unsettling about digging up a graveyard, which is what the city had become.

im thinking of going there this summer... what is it really like can you get right in there? or is it kind of an interpretive center? i want to wander the actual place...

This place mistifies me, i'd love to go there one day. Preferably at a time the volcano doesn't decide to errupt again though.

A fascinating video and tour, I'm sure! The face of the first victim shown looked rather odd: it was showing features of teeth and eyes such as I've not seen in pictures from the other preserved figures, almost as if someone had fashioned them somewhere along the way!
