The last part you said about communication is more important than people think. I've had sound engineers threat me about if I were to hit a mic or get in the way of them doing their job. I'm glad someone understands that working together is a win/win situation.

I agree completely. The school of thought that teaches soundmen to be jerks is unfortunate but widespread.
