m42 was and always will be 1799cm2. M44 is 1895cm2.

@theallmightyboosh It grips very vell, but even with same engine e36 handles better than e30 (it tends to understeer, more than e36). Know the difference, I've driven both of them.

@ov3rsteer the E30's have nearly 50/50 weight distrubution. you are clearly hitting the corners too fast if you are understeering

@R32SKYLINEBWD The early E36 318IS's had the best engine. its the same M42 as the E30 but with a single belt and forged pistons. My E30 has the M44 engine with M42 ECU and is meant to be putting out around 150bhp but I wish it had the E36's M42 engine
