My sister and I both got spanked as a kid when we did something we where told NOT to do. We where also WARNED not to do it, so if we did it that was on us. After doing things you are told not to do you learn eventually NOT to do it. Our parents didnt just wake up and say " i think im gonna beat my kids today". They raised us very well, worked hard to provide for us and only wanted us to succeed.
