Football season is right around the corner, so why not have some tournaments to prepare? Hi everyone, I'm Andrea Rene for Clevver Games and Madden NFL is the top dog when it comes to football games. It was the #2 selling game in 2010 and the latest installment Madden NFL 12 is shaping up to be awesome as well, so Virgin Gaming and GameStop want to see your skills.

Dubbed the Battle of the Gridiron, the top players will walk away with over $100,000 dollars worth of prizes. The tournament begins on September 11th and runs through October 16th. Players who pre-order of buy the game from GameStop are eligible to register before September 18th.

The tournament will be online with runner-ups receiving a VIP trip and package to LA to watch the finals of the EA Sports Madden NFL 12 Challenge Series and four Grand Prize winners will get the VIP trip and the $5,000 dollar entry in the series for a chance to win $1 million dollars in prizes.
