What kind of pencils?Pentel Jolt 0.7 mechanical pencil, H, 2H, & Prang colored pencils
Other tools used? Blending stump, kneaded eraser, tissue paper.
What kind of paper? Bristol
How old am I (haha)? 22
How long have I been drawing portraits? 3 years
Have I taken lessons? Yes, but I'm mostly self taught.

About this drawing: Some drawings are really easy for me and some get really frustrating... THIS was a very frustrating one haha! I almost wanted to rip it up and throw it away. I think I need to get new colored pencils because the ones I am using leave little rough dots all over and then when you go over the rough dots you get lines where you don't want them! The skin color was hard for me to get because it seemed like every time I would blend the skin, half the color would disappear. But if I didn't blend it would look rough and messy. Also the blonde pard of the hair was difficult because it was SO WHITE blonde in the photo... it looked too dull compared to the rest of the hair so I added some yellow. ALSO, I do not like drawing people with colored contacts in because the iris does not look real and you can't achieve those realistic eyes that pop our of the drawing with contacts. She was wearing contacts in the photo I used. Not 100% happy with this drawing, but I thought I'd upload it for you guys anyways =). Enjoy!
