870 remington

This is my Remington 870 12 ga tac 3 mag.
I love this weapon, it will hit a head size target at 240 ft with a 1oz slug. The President of my gun club is a witness.

With or with out a slug barrel ? 80 yards, head shot, hmm, possible. But the real question, how many shots did you fire before you hit the mark ? If you say just once, then it was luck ! Hit it 3 outta 6 shots...then your good !

Five shots the first hit, but that was with a scope. Yep, I put a scope on a shot gun, But hey it was a nice day and we were out having fun. Anyway, firing rifled slugs through a smooth bore - they land all over the place. I couldn't hit it at all at that distance with standard sights.

i've had mine for about a year with tiger stripe desert camo (which i payed too much for lol) good fun, but i'm not buying the 240 ft shot. sorry man i want proof. props if you can though...

I don't blame you for not believing me. My dad always said "Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. The only proof I can offer you is this. If you have an 870, throw a scope on it and try the shot. Just don't get you eye too close to the scope. I opened my forehead and bleed all over the place..

@sixstringx2 I can hit a paper plate at 200 yards with my 870 open sights. I'm not bullshitting you or trying to act good. that is with Hornady SST

Awesome weapon! I have a Winchester 1200 that has had the barrel shortened to just above legal. I forget exactly how long it is. I need to take it out and shoot it as soon as the weather warms up. Thanks for the vid!
