Jake and Paulina--You Are My Trap Man

Jake holds the videotape just out of Paulina's reach as he tells her that Grant only hired him to make the tape so Grant could rub his affair with Paulina in Jake's face, and then he stiffed Jake, never paying him the ten grand he said he would for the tape. Paulina asks him if money is all he cares about, and if he'd like to loot her Christmas Club account. Jake says that between Kevin and Jamie, Paulina must have gotten a real earful, and Paulina says she doesn't need Kevin or Jamie to tell her what Jake is, she knows: Jake is her trap man, the one man that she knows she should stay away from because he's bad news, but every time she sees him she can't help herself, and the next minute she's on her knees praying that she'll never see him again, and God help Paulina, that's what Jake is to her. Jake says that since she has admitted he is the only man for her (which Paulina disputes by reminding Jake he's her trap man, and there's a big difference), she should just give in to the inevitable, and if her knees give out, he'll catch her. Paulina makes another grab for the videotape, and soon she and Jake are rolling around on the floor battling for the tape. Jake pins Paulina to the floor and tells her that she'll get the tape when pigs fly, and Paulina tells Jake she hates him. Jake retorts that he is under Paulina's skin, and that won't change no matter how many times she makes it with Kevin, and that Kevin is not Jake, and Paulina knows that no man will ever love her as much as Jake does. They just look at each other for a moment, and then Jake starts to lean his head down as if to kiss Paulina. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

No one did passion like Jake and Paulina. I loved their fights because they were always so wrought with Hot, Steamy, Passion and J&P proved the theory of the very very very fine line between love and hate. They were my all time favorite couple of any soap

Jake was always playing around with her, but when it came down to it he always showed her how much he cared as well. These two were quite the pairing, they work amazingly well together in each and every scene they had.
