Sondra's smitten with her boyfriend, Elvin, who isn't always reliable. But Cliff prefers a different guy for her, Daryl, a pre-med student, who he thinks would make a great addition to the family. When Sondra and Elvin have another fight, she spitefully makes a date with Daryl, while Cliff coaches the would-be suitor on how to win her heart.

They're so many funny episodes from this show. Definitely most of them are from seasons 1-4, 5-6 have some memorable ones as well. 7 and 8 I didn't find particularly as funny as 1-6 but still some good stuff scattered throughout.
