My first Rodeo, we won! Twisted K Rodeo PG County Fair 9/11/11

So i signed up last minuet because the other show i was going to volunteer at got canceled because all of the horrible rain... and because of that horrible rain flare hadnt been riden since the last show, which was a week ago...
But this little mare always gives me her heart and despite this being her first time in an environment such as this, with the chute having big Brahman Bulls on either side, loud music, and all sorts of distractions she did her job...
and i guess really well, I was the 2nd rider and when the read my time, a 14.6, i was like "ok i guess its a small pattern and everyones going to be runing low 14, maybe 13's" Then when others started running, and i was hearing 15 & 16's i thought maybe i heard my time wrong ( because it was hard to hear anyway) and i ran a 16.6...
Then they called out the winner, which i couldn't hear, so i asked who won to my friend who also ran and of course she said "you did!" which i didn't believe until my friend who was videoing came down from the stands and said the same thing! I was sooooooooo ecstatic! Talk about smiling ear to ear!

So we won $450 with a 14.6 at our first rodeo.
