Over Labor Day weekend Ladybug and I took a trip down to Savannah. Over the four days we were there we tried to cram in as much as we could. Our first day there we visited Wormsloe Plantation and Bonaventure Cemetery before going into town and taking an orientation tour with Old Savannah Trolley tours. Our tour guide Mike was absolutely the best! On the second day we did our own walking tour of Bull Street in the morning and River Street in the afternoon finishing up the day with supper at the Pirate House. Third day we visited Tybee Island, toured the Tybee Island Lighthouse then took a mid day paddle out to Cockspur Beacon at the mouth of the Savannah River. Our last day there we went on a scavenger hunt for all the Forrest Gump film locations stopping in McPhearsonville to see Stoney Creek Chapel and in Yemassee to see Bluff Plantation on our way home. It was a great long weekend trip.
My Dad & his people are buried in Bonaventure I go there once or twice a year! Thanks for a nice vid
