Thanks for this post "people need the Lord".. I Love this song..twas first time i've heard this song right after i was was baptized in KSA where practicing christianity was prohibits. But praise God to our courageous SDA who are earnestly serving God despite the situation. Lets pray for them to continue their ministry and to bring more souls in the feet of JESUS. Yes... really people need the Lord. Be bless!

Actually Steve Green sang the song in 1994 and has an album titled People Need the Lord. Ray Boltz sang it later. Steve Green is singing the version you are listening to. Both are great, but personally I think the Steve Green version is more powerful. Regardless, it's an awesome song!
