Thanks to Endangered Species Act protections, Northern rockies grey wolf populations have bounced back from the near-extinction brought on by a hunting, trapping and poisoning campaign in the last century aimed at exterminating them.
But now, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed removing grey wolves from the endangered species list in Montana and Idaho.

were not trying to hunt them to extinction. were trying to control population. and make them fear humans and civilization like wild animals should. these things slaughter cattle all over montana and ive seen it happen. so 75 wolfs out of at least 500 in montana isnt going to make them extinct when they reproduce at a 20% rate each year. those are the facts so dont feed us your bull shit about saving them
I am happy to find someone ready for a rationalize argument abt killing wolves. Sure, we can hunt wolves, but isn't be the decision of the scientists and biologists to set when and how many to hunt rather than Joe and Moe. As human we proved how stupid and ruthless we are by eradication wolves from Northern rockies long ago. Even now we have so much misconconception abt wolves. Please try to know abt wolves from a biologist or ethnologist not from hearsays.
I believe you mean 75% of cows and calves were killed by wolves lolo was the control of the effects of wolves the rest can't be bad winters cause the wolves are the reason for them dieing by making them unable to conserve calories in the winter
