http://www.accuplace.com/adhesive-label-assembly/apac.asp. This video shows the AccuPlace APAC robotic film adhesive platform building a speaker assembly for a mobile phone.
In this example the APAC is assembling 4 different adhesive parts along with the speaker to a plastic housing. The parts are hand loaded into the dual tray shuttle and the machine operates on one shuttle while the operator loads and unloads the other side.
You achieve precise adhesive assembly while utilizing lower cost labor for material handling.
