The best G-dcast ever! (j/k!) No no, it's a great episode, we PROMISE! (As if!) You'll learn a lot! (Psych!)

Okay for real though, Parshat Matot is about promises and oaths...and what to do when you just can't keep them. So if you're the type of person who might accidentally have sworn you'd be nice to your little sister this year, or that you'd eat less chocolate, or that you'd curse less, well...listen up.

This is Episode 42 of the weekly Torah cartoon from G-dcast.com. Each week, a different storyteller - some musical, some poetic, some just straight-up, tell the story of the current Torah portion...and then we animate it!

  • I didn't see where it said you can just cancel your vow, it taught the opposite. You must keep it. The only one who can annul in this weeks parashat is the husband to annul his wife's vow because she would obligate him in a way and so he can annul it when he hears it. The rest is not in this parashat but tradition which probably violates Torah.
