Garrett Anders Demo Reel 2009

This is a demo reel of some of the work that I did while attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh from 2007-2010. It shows my work with designing, sculpting, and fabricating animatronic characters as well as prosthetic make-up effects. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. Also featured is Crazy Mocha's Chubbs creature suit that I worked on as part of a team for a commercial of theirs.

Is that fibreglass for the rat skull? And what are the teeth made from? Sculpey?

Yes, the underskull is fiberglass. The teeth are made out of dental acrylic.

I am going to school for this I am not the best artist but the person at the school told me I should do all the other makeup courses because it would help with creature designs is that true? Can I just start with creature design course which is 6 weeks and learn everything through that?
