Bench Tales

This bench is a place of remembrance, it is a place to sit and reflect. It can be used as a meeting place a place to watch the world go by. It is an object in its own environment. It can be passed without a second thought as if it doesnt exist. That in itself gives it a power, a magic if you like, as it is self contained within its own space. It can be used as a clandestine meeting place, a place of sorrow, a place of joy. It is an environment, an object that can be loved or abused.

What I tried to achieve with this project was all the above. A large proportion of this animation was shot candidly. I also used shysters theatre company to help contrive some of the scenarios.
