Today we started building raised beds for our strawberries. Lynn is about to experience the skills needed to create six 4' x 10' rectangular beds and transport them by wagon over to the strawberry patch.

  • Sounds like you have a great plan. You will love having raised beds, they control plants and weeds, and you don’t have to bend down so far. Thank you for viewing and for your encouraging comment. Have fun and reap the harvest of your hard work and love. Lynn

  • This is a great video, thank you. This is my first year growing things, one thing I have is everbearing strawberries, started with one plant, it filled a 14" pot and another container. I want to build a 4 x 8 ft. raised bed, divided into thirds so I can rotate new offshoots so that after 3 yrs. of use they can keep growing from the new shoots and keep the bed producing. Today need to head out and buy the lumber for that bed, and a second one for some veggies.
