  • so i'm trying to get long hair, and i know this is different for everyone and everyone's hair genetics/care routine.... but how often should i get my hair trimmed? just when there are a lot of split ends/damaged hair? i've been told by hair stylists/dressers that usually every 6 weeks.......

  • @felilovesg

That's about right, I would take it to every 2 months if I were you. That way the majority of your hair will always be healthy in the long run. Eventually you won't have to get it cut so often. I only get mine trimmed maybe twice a year now.

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! u should've told me about the razor thing before...<='( anyway i can fix it a little??

  • @shygirl3010

Awww, it's ok honey. You're not alone in making that mistake. Honestly, hairstylists should know better than to even do it. Just get regular trims and get them cut bluntly.

  • After I got a brazilian blowout I brokeout in odd bumps on my neck, almost like small cysts for a few months, I'd have a few at a time, I don't get them anymore, and never had got them before, but who knows if it was related. The salon I had it done at doesn't do it anymore because they don't have the correct ventilation and at one point in my treatment, it was so toxic, I couldn't breathe in because i would start coughing, it was not cool!.

  • @AndreaJuliet

Wow, that sounds awful! You poor thing, I'm so glad that nothing else happened to you. Those chemicals seep into your skin and can cause all kinds of other internal damage. I really wish salons would stop doing them. The ingredients should be illegal to use in those type of treatments. I can only imagine how many other girls have had problems from it.

  • i can sit on my hair ._. hahahah the last time i met a friend at the bus station - we been bf's in high school - she looked at my hair and she was like "wow, they your hair is loooong! girl! how do you even poo with that?" she screamed it out so loud that everybody that waited with us for the bus to arrive giggled and yeah it was really embarrassing but SOOOO funny! :D LONG HAIR RULES ♥

  • how often would you use heat on your hair?

  • my hair is really curly i'm in a transition stage because i've relaxed my hair for years. But now i am letting it be naturally strighting it the least possible, i use hot tools every other week and it's working for me. my hair is growing and my natural hair is slowly coming back. Biotin works!!!!

  • where do you get your hair cut?!

  • What about hair milk texturizer

  • you mentioned different techniques where you dont need to razor the hair but still gets cool looks without damaging it, can you please tell me about these techniques and whether its self managed or if its something that the stylist do when giving you the haircut. thnks :)

    super pretty hair btw x

  • OH my gosh! I'm in high school and I do exactly what you did! I got a bad haircut and my hair just doesn't fall right anymore so I wear it in a bun EVERY single day! I don't know what to do! I'm waiting for it to grow out but it's just taking SO LONG! What did you do? It's really ruining my confidence because I'd much rather wear it down but it's just really bad.. I have naturally really thick and curly/wavy hair and i don't know what to do with it..HELPPPP! /:

  • how long did it take for you to grow your waist and is there anything such as vitamin supplements or special hair treatments which will increase the rate at which your hair grows that you can recommend?

  • Wow I'm so glad I found you! I have alopecia areata, so I've had bald spots since the 3rd grade I've just had to deal with. But w/the hair I -do- have, you've really educated me about how to take care of it, I've been doing it so wrong! Hairdressers and docs that look at my hair tell me I have a lot of it, but that it's very thin. I ran to the bathroom to check my shampoo (Herbal Essences) Totally has sulfate! I'm going to start eating better, drinking more water, stressing less & cutting diff!

  • You look much better with light skin. With dark skin you look ordinary.
